Is it possible to take a computer from one store, (this is a secondary work station), and move it to another location, and still have it communicate with the main system at the home office. The type of system installed has three stations, with one station as the main one. They other two work off the main one. I no longer use this one station so I thought I could put it in my other store. If not, can I connect it up, and have it pop the register drawer open,etc.. and program the same functions into it as the main one, instead of part of a network. I want to computerize my register, I am losing money trying to have every thing done bhy hand. Any suggestions would help at this point.
Thanks for your time.
Wayne.

Wayne,
Without some more specific information such as the following: type of systems, Operating System, type of connectivity (DSL, cable, dial-in, etc.), network setup, business software being used, etc., there is no way that any of use can give you any kind of helpful or even relevant suggestions. With the info you have provided, all we can really do is give you a SWAG (Silly, Wild-A** Guess) as to what you might or might not be able to do.

Give us some more information, and I'm sure there is someone out here, that either has a setup similar to yours or has put one together for a customer, and that can help you out.
