I have a Windows 2000 Server. It is set up with two NIC’s. One is connected to a cable modem the other to a hub.
I have Microsoft Proxy Sever 2.0 on the server with SMTP Services installed.
I have had to disable DNS services on the server as when I try to send an email from a workstation, it tries to resolve from the server’s DNS. I am not a networking expert but I believe that this is the reason my emails are ending up in the badmail folder. Is there something I’m missing in the setup ofthe server which would allow me to use DNS on the server and still allow the workstation to send email?
