Share of Boot drive in Windows XP

by rfworks . Updated 22 years, 8 months ago

I have a small peer to peer network of 5 computers. I installed 2 network cards and I run the peer to peer on one and I route the internet through a router to my ADSL modem.
I am now inplementing a backup scheme to run from one machine over the network. I need access to the boot drive to gain setting and documents. All other data is stored on a second HD on each machine. We share these second drives but I have been relucatant to share the “C” over the network.

The question I have is: With the two seperate cards can outside probes and hackers still see my network?? Or do they only see the internet?? I have turned off file and print shareing on that card.
