I work for a school that has a computer lab of about 40 windows xp computers. The students were changing passwords so I set up the Shared Computer Toolkit and restricted password changes.
Now, everyday, there is an issue with many of the machines not being able to load the student user profile. They come up with an error saying “your profile cannot be loaded”.
Everytime I reload the computers, it happens again.
When I look for the solution on technet, it only says to install the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service, which is already installed on each machine.
This problem has to stop. Is this what I get for trying to save money on some retail security programs?
