shared databases

i’m trying to research a claim that supposedly “shared databases” are not supported by Microsoft running on WinXP Home. i think it is a fals claim and makes no sense, if it’s ok to run on XP Pro, but not on XP Home. Does anyone have any information that would support Not putting any kind of “shared Database” on XP Home besides the marketing hype of XP home and the different features reduced in that OS? I would prefer to see some valid resources or links to KB articles that support one way or another. THanks
