shared folder permissions

By bradq ·
Hi. There is a shared folder on an XP machine. This isn't on a domain, just a workgroup. The shared folder has 3 subfolders in it.

The users access this and save their Word documents here. Someone keeps renaming or moving the subfolders. What share permissions and user level permissions need to be set where they can still open and save documents here but not move or rename the folders they are in?

You can only do something about it if you have XP PRO, and setup group and user policies.

XP Home does not have this capability.
