p2p network, Win2K Pro and WinXP Home edition. i have an HP Laserjet 4 connected and shared to one of the win2k Pro workstaion through the parallel port. however, i am not able to add the printer to any of the other workstations. the only way i amable to do it is when i go through the network places and access the workstation that the printer is connected to, but when i do that windows prompts me for a username and password and i enter the username and password of the computer that has the printer connected to. after that, i am able to print, but when i restart the computer where i just added the printer and try to print again it does not let me print, access denied or re-install printer drive. i have configured the netwok using the network id, but it does not work. is there anything that i could do to resolve this problem?
