Shared WIN2000 Workstation

By gbalonek ·
I have some WIN2000 workstations that are used by more than one person. Each person has their own login. Other that copying the Desktop and Statment folders in Documents and Settings, is there any way to keep each Desktop and Start Menu the same for all users?

log in with an administrator access and load all your programs needed. Go to the "My Computer" and C:. Open your Winnt folder and then your "Document and Settings" folder. Copy all needed icons from the desktop folder and place them in the same desktop folder in the "All Users" folder. All shortcuts will be availible to all users. Test it with some test users. Roaming profiles can get "BIG" and takeup bandwidth downloading each time.
