In these 2007 versions, I am trying to make a three stage form. There are three sites, one for stage 1, another for stage 2, etc. Stage 1 has an InfoPath form that has 3 fields. Stage 2 has an InfoPath form that has 6 fields (the first 3 of which are the same submitted data from Stage 1), and Stage 3 has 10 fields, the first 6 of which are from Stage 1 and 2 combined.
I have the forms made and published to teh Sharepoint site. I have the three sites and when I save data written by the form, the data is shown on the respective page from the form used to submit the data. What I need help with is creating a hyperlink from Stage 1 to Stage 2 sites.
The first field in all forms is Item#. Can I enter in data into the first form, and when submitted to the Sharepoint site, create a link from Item# to the Stage 2 site, which would automatically open up the form for Stage 2, with the data from Stage 1 populating the appropriate fields in Stage 2? But populate them as read-only? The read-only is an afterthought, not so important, but the populating data and hyperlinks are what we’re after.
