Using Sharepoint on SBS 2003.
Whenever I try to connect to the Sharepoint site from outside our network, the url cannot be found, why? Would it be because of a firewall, or because I might be on an intranet? I also tried using the ip address but didnt work also.
Also I cannot view companyweb?
If I am on the server, I can access company web fine only if I put the link http://companyweb. But if I go to server administration, virtual server and click on company web, it directs me to “http://companyweb/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmdll.dll?page=webadmin.htm”
and that link doesnt work
It looks like its directing companyweb to another link which is dead…
When I right click company web in virtual server and go to properties, it display the wrong link to sharepoint site
Now I got a link called, https://servername:444 which can be access by all the computers on the network. Its like a copy of the website of companyweb, if i make changes to it, it will display changes on company as well
Everyone on the network can access http://servername fine but when they click my company internal website, dead link
Any suggestion?
