Sharepoint for Apple computer

Does Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 sp1(NOT Microsoft Office SahrePoint Server)support Macintosh client? If so, how to configure Windows 2003 sharepoint server as well as Apple 10.4.9 clients in order for them to connect to each other? Many thanks for your input.
