I am planning a SharePoint Service-Terminal Server- Office 2003 installation with an ASP.
Clients are spread over the Internet
The ASP is offering a dedicated Win 2003 server.
Is there a cost effective way to secure this installation.
I have read a lot but information is spread over each individual item in the set up.(I have just finnished SharePoint 2003 Unleased, by techrepublic.) Can anyone help me tigh it all together so I can discuss with the ASP.
What do I then mean by cost effective , not quite sure, but the cost of the dedicated server
is in the neighbourhood of 160 $/month
and the office 2003 cost is about 20$/month and user. Let’s say cost may not increase more than 15% and that security shall be very good.(that I cannot quantify).
