i have win 2000 professional. i am on a network, and when i try and access my computer from another by using the defalut share C$(which is hidden) it asks me for the password i try my network admin password that i used when i first set the machine up as administrator, and i have tried my network password as well. neither will work it says password invalid. i know i am using the correct password cause i can log on as admin and onto network both. is there a default password for the share c$??i try to edit the permissions even logged on as administrator and it says “this has been shared for administrative purposes. the share permissions and file security cannot be set” any suggestions on how i can get this password???
