I can't access a file from another system, even though it has been shared and given full permisiions and that file hasn't been encrypted. It is displaying but while I try to open it, it is not opening, could u plz let me know the answer.

Is Netbeui protocal installed ?

If the containing folder has any restrictions on it those restrictions will be inherited by any subfolders and files. Go to the properties of the folder you want access to, then to the "Security" tab, click "Advanced" button. Then uncheck "Inherit from parent the permissions~"
If this does not work you may need to explicitly add your user under the "Security" tab as well as under the "Sharing" tab.
