Sharing a modem

By paul ·
This IS NOT an Internet Sharing Question!!

I have a windows 2000 client with a modem. I have a second windows 2000 client without a modem. We connect to client machines to do data transfers (various connection software such as pcanywhere and crosstalk).

Can we share the modem on one workstation so that the other workstation can use it?

Thanks

I wasn't looking for specific software vendor. I know about modem sharing software but I was actually hoping for something in the operating system on this question. As it is we have solved the problem by installing another modem. It was cheaper than any modem sharing software out there anyway.
