Shared printer on Vista cpu works fine for the Vista. I have XP cpu that can see the Vista and printer over the hardwired network. When I try to print to it, the XP wants to load the driver from the Vista machine. Can't load additional drivers on the Vista that are XP drivers. Don't have the printer install disk so downloaded driver from Epson. Can't unzip the file without an auto install. Can someone tell me how to load XP printer driver under "additional drivers" on the Vista?? Frustration growing! Thanks.

If you have not got it already (XP printer driver) then download it onto VISTA. Right click on it and choose "properties > computability mode" and then select from the drop down window box "run under Windows XP SP2", then install the driver. When done, go to your XP machine and log on to your printer driver when asked. Hope all works out for you.
