Hi,
It doesn't works because just one computer have an Internet adress.

You can also use a proxy to do NAT.
You install 2 network cards in one computer. One for DSL internet connection and the other for private network.
Install a PROXY ( wingate, ... ) on computer which have 2 cards.
And you configure your browser to pass by proxy.

The proxy share one internet connection with your private network.
Take care to your security...

I hope, this can help you.

You can buy a WinProxy for around 50.00 install it, buy a hub for 30.00 and hook the DSL Modem, and the 2 PCs, and you can share the DSL. I have the same setup in home.

Good Luck!

I used win 98 2nd edition $19.00 bucks from microsoft if your upgrading from windows 98 1st edition. Install internet connection sharing...Part of win 98 2nd edition...

Put nic cards in each pc, plug into hub, and plug your dsl modem into hub, and there you go...

I have there set-up as a peer to peer, works great... There is a file at microsoft web site that will help you do this...

I hope you chose the External Cisco 675? you then run from the wall to the router to a hub then connect your COmputers to the hub. And have unlimitted computers. Do not do the proxy thing. Just search ads and news groups. You also didn't state how your ISP connects you to your DSL. But if they sent you a box to connect to the wall then take out the RJ-45 and place it into a hub and then your PC's into the hub.

Thats it.
WALL > ROUTER > HUB > PC's

OH, Also after doing so, Be sure you install Netbui on both computers and have the same work groups listed and add Client For Microsoft Networks. This is all located in the COntrol panel under network. If you have a network Nieghborhood Icon then Client For Microsoft networks is installed. And you can right click on it and goto properties then select add protocal and select Microsoft and select NetBui
