We are attempting to set up a mapped drive on an xp machine. On the LAN this share works fine, however when connecting through our LAN to LAN VPN, the mapped drive is not accessible. I can ping the ip and host name from the VPN but when opening the mapped drive in my computer get the message “Local device name already in use, connection has not been restored.” From network neighbor, none of the computers in the workgroup show up sometimes, when the computer name does show, cannot open the shared drive…
