Sharing folder from Win2000

Win NT network — I have shared folders/resources many times w/o problem with Win98 computers. Now have Win2000 laptop that I have shared a particular folder, mapped drive on computer that has a CD RW — can see the computer on network, but not thefolder I want to copy ??

What am I missing?

Thanks for your assistance.
