Sharing Internet with Routing and Remote

By btrue ·
It is possible to share your Internet connection with Routing and Remote Access? I know I have seen it before, and even tried to do it, but never had any luck making it work. Right now we are using ICS on a Windows 2000 server for sharing the Internet connection. I think Routing and Remote access as a NAT would have better results. Can I please get your opinions and maybe help on how to set it up?

Thanks

The correct way to go about this is to setup RRAS with NAT. Of curse there is a wizard for this. It basically comes down to selecting which NIC is the external, and which one is the internal.

I have done this, but can never seem to make it work. I have followed step by step instructions from the net, never with any luck. I've tried on two separate networks, could there be something special that I'm missing?
