Sharing is Greyed Out In NetMeeting

I’m trying to connect to another user’s PC w/ NetMeeting and have that user share her/his desktop so that I can troubleshoot application issues. The problem is that the user is on Windows 2000 and when she/he goes to share the desktop, the option is greyed out. I checked to make sure that there was no programs like Hayes or Hummingbird running in the background or as TSR’s. Symantec Desktop Firewall and other Firewall software has been either disabled or removed. Has anyone heard of this issue?
