Does anyone know if I can "point" two instances of Outlook Express, one on each of two PCs, to the same email files so that I could go to either PC to view the existing email and to get new???? If so, how do I do this?

It is possible - I have done it, but beware!! It is flakey and very prone to corruption.
Assume you have one instance of OE open on machine(1), with the files all on machine(1). You then open the instance of Outlook Express on machine(2), you stand a very good chance of corrupting your address book, even if you don't do anything with the second instance apart from opening it.
Also, if you open Outlook Express on machine(2) without a network connection to the files on machine(1), OutlookExpress on machine(2) will return to default and you will have to set it all up again.
You also must have your identities set up EXACTLY the same so that both instances can read the same address book.
It is something I have done at home, but Iwould never, ever do it for a client where I might have to resurrect a disaster that inevitably would happen.
If you want the directions, I have a text file that I could send you that sort of spells it out - send me an email & I will forward it to you.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
