Sharing Outlook Folders without Exchange

By gihayes ·
I have 6 machines setup all running outlook 2000. The one on the server has shared it's Contacts, Calendar and Tasks folders with all the other machines. The Tasks and Calendar folders have relativly few items, The Contacts folder has over 2000 (about 100 some meg in size). This has worked fine for some time. Problem is now, when I add a new machine the Contacts already in the other folders are not being sent to the new machine, but items entered in the new Machine's Contacts are sent to the others. The Calendar and Tasks work fine. I know I can get all the Contacts distributed by canceling the sharing, deleting all contacts in all machines, re-setup sharing, and then importing them back into the server machine, but I am hoping to avoid all that. Can anyone help?
