Sharing printer!

I have a small win 98 subnet on a novell network we pruchased a lexmark z55 color printer and attempted to share it. installed and works fine on individual workstations but when shared we it, it will install remotley (over the network)or locally fine (through the install disk) to the client but when we print an error of unable to communicate with the printer is displayed and we are unable to print! as per lexmark support it should work and they dont understand why!
