Sharing printer

by billyd59 . Updated 17 years, 7 months ago

I have 2 computers 1 desktop with Windows XP and 1 laptop with Vista. The desktop has the printer hard wire to It. I leave the desktop on most of the time. I do have share folders and there work. My problem Is I can share my printer with my laptop but once I turn off and restart the laptop the share printer disapears. The share printer still Is In the registry. I will try to tell you want I did to share the printer. On the desktop the printer works and I right click on the printer and than click on share. On the laptop I click add printer and than pick add network printer. I want to make It clear this printer Is not a network printer. The printer I am tring to share Is a kodak printer. Does anyone have any Ideas to fix this problem?
