Is it possible to share a folder at the server from your workstation/server to the other workstation?

Yes. As long as you have terminal services access to the server and properly authenticated with the right access level. So from my workstation, I can launch the terminal services client to access my server (remote administration), share a folder andassign access level to anyone.

hope this helps.

With Win2k pro, start Computer management, do Action, connect to another computer. Enter your server name. Now you should have a Shared Folders option. Right clicking File Shares under this will give the option to make a new file share.

With NT client, you need to open Server manager, highlight the server you want to share something on then click Computer..Shared Directories. Now you can click New Share.

Both of these ways will let you set permissions as well.
