sharing WinXP resources to Win98 clients

Have any of you experienced a problem sharing a printer or a folder from and XP workstation to a WIN98 workstation?

I am having trouble sharing resources on WinXP PRO clients. I successfully joined the client PC to the Domain. The correct domain name is listed under identification. File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks is installed. The printer is designated as a shared resource for “Domain Users”. I can share out the printer just fine to WinXP clients. When I try to install a new network printer on a WIN98 workstation I can browse to the required resource ID, but when I click to expand it, I get an error, ? \\share-name is not accessible. This device does not exist on the network.? (and yet it does). I have the same problem with sharing XP Client hard drive folders.

The error only exsists on WIN98 PCs attempting to use WINXP client resources on a Domain. (peer to peer networks between and XP client and a Win98 client work fine).
