I want to delete a trial copy of Nero as I have a full version, however I cannot delete, modify, repair the file as the shell manager is corrupt or missing. How do I go about uninstalling this version?

As this is a problem that I’ve never run across previously

I would suggest that you boot into Safe Mode and then uninstal the Trial Version of Nero. You should be able to delete it when only part of Windows is actually running.

From my previous experience with Nero all that I’ve ever done to update it was to insert th new CD and run the install program this has always previously found the old installation and asked do I want to delete it before installing the new version.

I am experiencing the same thing. Were you able to delete the program using Safe mood, and if not how did you fix it?

      Thanks for the help!

I am having the same problem as christelsea and I want to know what to do. I have tried system restore, but nothing. I am at my wits end.
