Some of our users calling via outside lines to a SHIVA system are getting an “ERROR 651″ hardware error. Does anyone have any information about this error? I have checked MSKB, IBM knowledgebase, Xircom, SHIVA, USR/3COM and cannot find squat about”Error 651”. The error is driving us nuts because it prevents remote users from connecting. HELP!!!
We know that the modems are working. They have tested out OK. We can connect through a PBX number w/o problem, but outside lines yield “error 651”. Not all users are affected, but those that are consistently get the error. If you can help (and I can provide you with more details), you will get the 1000 points.
