when i create shortcuts to the desktop ,its appearing with the arrow .how can i take this arow away and keep only the short cut

You will need to download a 3rd party application to manipulate the windows system. I can't remember the exact name, but I believe tweak or tweakui is an example of such a program.

Alternatively, you could just change the icon to that shortcut. Right click on the icon, and select Properties. Then click on the shortcut tab, and finaly the Change icon button. Search around a bit, there are icons scattered amongst numerous files.It may not be exactly like the original icon, but who knows you may find one you like better.

Download and Install Microsoft's Tweak UI (available from www.download.com). Open Tweak UI from the Control Panel, go to the Explorer tab and choose your preference for the Shortcut overlay: Arrow, light arrow, none, or custom.
