Shortcut Debacle
(Because I’m an idiot)
Now all the shortcuts have a random overlay each time the machine is booted.
I get the Word icon, Excel and everything in shell32.dll, everything except the little arrow.
I have since installed the correct version of Powertoys and can use TweakUI to rebuild the icons. It removes the overlay, but I have to do this each time the machine boots. The icon overlay function on the explorer tab on Tweak doesn’t do anything.
Does anybody have any ideas or should I just bite the bullet and reinstall NT.
