Tragedy:
Whenever anyone tries to run the Clipper database with the shortcut located on the desktop it fails and the Blue Screen o’ Death stops by for a visit. Freeze ‘n Flop! A hard boot is the only available option at that point.
Comedy:
If you copy the shortcut to a floppy and in explorer double-click the shortcut located in the A: drive you get a happy-go-lucky Clipper database.
The properties are EXACTLY the same for both shortcuts and both used to work just fine.
Yet now, all of a sudden, it only wants to work from the A: drive.
