Shortcut to close all apps in Windows

By justinC ·
Is there a shortcut to close all open applications in windows? For example, when I have mutiple apps open but want to close them all quickly. What are the combination keys? Any different in NT4.o and W2K?

You may also minimize all windows by pressing the "Window" + m keys simultaniously.

If you open a string of folders and want to close all the folders it took you to get to the point you are at, hold the "Shift" key when closing the top most window that you wish to close. This will close all the folders that you used to get to the current one. Helpfull if you don't want to close your Applications while reclaiming your desktop.
