Never, except the fans when they are too dirty. And be careful!
I’ve never done it, and my desktop now is 8 years old.

      Varies with location.

For me it’s about 2 year intervals when I see the vents and heatsinks are getting a little clogged.
      I don’t set a schedule.

      Hi, hopkieb27
Yes, it’s a good idea to clean your PC parts regularly. Dust buildup can block airflow, cause overheating, and impact performance. Aim to clean it every 3-6 months, especially around fans, the CPU cooler, and the power supply. Just be sure to turn off and unplug your PC before cleaning.

Short answer yes. But I have only cleaned my desktop once in 2 years and it is currently running fine, of course the fans are dusty but I haven’t noticed any noticable changes. However the less dust, the less chance you are to encountering an issue.
