A “disagreement” has developed between myself and an associate. It is my opinion that when doing any kind of maintenance on a PC you should, as a matter of routine, upgrade the PC’s BIOS to the most current version available.
It is his opinion that you should never upgrade a BIOS unless it will specifically solve some problem that is occuring. He sees it as introducing possible problems to already established software. He spends a lot of time doing Database work and linking PC’s to servers in various ways.
You opinions please. Thank you.
