shut down in to dos mode

how do you get your NT workstation to shut down windows and go in to dos mode with out restarting.

To my knowledge you cannot...the best you ca n do is open a DOS windows......

Answer number one is correct, you cannot. If you're system has been configured so that the boot partition is FAT the you can boot with a boot disk to look at the contents of drive C:

Can?t, if youre NT workstation has FAT system then you can boot on Dos/win95/98 boot disk.
