When ever i start my windows 2000 server, after getting blue screen the system is getting automatically restarted. please suggest me what to do & please give me the reason for this problem.

Hi,

This is likely to be a corrupted driver problem.
You need to boot to the last known good configuration.

Alternatively you could do a repair with that repair floppy that you so dilligently made :-)

Alternatively you can boot using the original CD and set it to do a repair.

Alternatively you can boot to safe mode and disable the problem driver (if you've any idea which it might be)

Alternatively you can re-install Win2K over the top of your existing installation but this may cause problems but not as many as...

Alternatively you can rebuild your server from scratch.

And finally you can set the BIOS to not auto-reboot, it will stop at the BSOD which you take down and post the important bits back here - the important bit is the bit that says VMM or VxD or something like that.

At least from that we'll be able to give you direction as to what driver is causing your problem.
