shutdown—windows 2000 professional

when i go to shut pc–i click on shutdown—it goes thru the motion fine—-but a screen appears and says it is ok to turn off your computer–

is there any way just to hit shut down on the pc—and it will automatically turn off my computer without me manually hitting the button on the pc—need your help—-robert
