shutting down woes
I recenlty upgraded to Win2k prof from NT. I also reformatted my hard drive before the installation.
I have noticed recently that when I shut down or log off, there is no response from the system.
I have done the obvious like looking at events manager.
It says that 'The COM + Event System detected a bad return code during it's internal processing. HRESULT was 800706BF from line 42 of .eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support service to report this error.'
I noticed another message thus, 'Unable to read IO control information from NBT device.'
What's da matter?
