signature pads

By TABComputers2002 ·
I'm having a problem with a Topaz LCD Siglite 1x5 T-L460-HSB signature pad. When someone signs thier signature, it doesn't display properly inour forms. I'm on the lates drivers (dowloaded this morning). Any ideas of what to check next??

Specs:
Win XP SP2
Plugged in USB
Using Information Technologies Premier Platform (banking product)

I've contacted support and everything checks out as installed correct. Now I'm checking with the experts.

Thanks
Tim

It sounds like a software problem, a bank I worked at started using a card scanner for load applications. They would scan driver licences and link them to the loan application. The pictures would scan in fine but when you used the software to view the pictures they were skewed. It took two weeks with both venders and alot of adjusting how each product looked at each other.
Call thier help desk and tell them they need to make it work or you will return the software and hardware because it is unusable and it will void the contract.

The sig pads work at all the other locations. The only one we have a problem with is our newest branch that runs win XP SP2, all the other branches are 2000.

I would still get with both venders involved because it is still software. Microsoft patches close holes in their software so it will stop things that might be a problem.

I'm headed back to the branch with the problem. According to the website, there are no drivers needed when using my paticular sig pad. I'll be taking both companies phone #s with me.
