Simple Question? Remote Admin

During my schooling in NT (still ongoing) I was able to remote to clients shut them down and work on their stations from my station now I have completely forgot what that was called on the NT resource kit? (trying not to massivly luanch pc anywhere!)
Second How do I do it with win 2000 server what is the program called?
