Sims 2 nightlife installer

I had dowloaded sims 2 nightlife but doesn?T work.It`s said:
the installation of the sims 2 ( located at….) is not valid. Install the sims 2
univerity againg to fix this problem

What`s the problem? I had instaled the sims 2 againg but nothing
happened
