small/medium business with central office connected to the internet via Sonicwall SOHO 3. I have a remote office in San Diego that I need to connect via VPN. The company has a couple Netgear FVS318v3 sitting around.
This is a dual part question. First being is it possible to setup a site to site VPN via the Sonicwall & Netgear FVS318v3, I’m assuming it is. Second part of this question is the kicker. The remote office in San Diego is located in an office suite that we do not own, and they share an internet connection with the other suites. From some initial investigation I have noted that it is a Linksys router acting as the gateway to the internet. Can the FVS318 sit behind the Linksys and still allow the VPN connection to work, or must it sit on the edge?
And just in the off chance anyone has done anything similar, I’ve had difficulty locating information about this on the web. Any links or documents anyone know of that might help. Many thanks to all who respond.
