am quoting one example here related to the configuration of site link cost-

Your organisation has a site in Colorado and a site in Chile with two connections between them:a high-speed connection and a dial-up connection in case the high-speed connection fails. You would configure two site links - one for each connection.Because the high-speed connection is preferable to a dial-up connection , you would configure that site link with a lower cost than the site link for the dial-up connection.Because the site link with the high-speed connection has a lower cost, it has a higher priority. Therefore, that site link is always used if possible.

I want to know that if this is practically possible or not?
