'Sizing' Document for a Windows NT Serve

By vitosemat ·
We are soon having a LAN.I have been asked to draft a sizing document which will be used in justifying purchases for more memory, processors, hard disk space and NIC.I need a sample document that I can be used to evaluate the above taking into consideration the number of users on the LAN and so on.I need a criteria i could use to finally move forward. Thank you

'Sizing' Document for a Windows NT Serve

Most major server vendors have online sizing tools. They will cover what apps and services will be used and how many users.
I've used compaq sizing tools online- it was somewhat accurate and it does take into consideration high availabilty vs cost savings.
Check with the vendor you want to purchase from's webiste or contact them directly.
Good Luck! SFO
