RE: 1mb graphics card

Well as these are not made you are going to be up against things. The smallest Video Card that I can see on any Price lists is 512 MEG.

HIS make one with a ATI Chip Set that retails for $59.00 AU and has the following specifications

HIS ATI 4350 PCI-E 2.0 512MB 64-bit DDR2, 600MHz / 800MHz, Dual Link DVI, VGA, HDMI, Heatsink, Low profile Brackets Included.

If you want a NVidia Chip Set you can look at Gigabyte one

NEW! Gigabyte GF 8400GS PCI-E Turbo Cache 512MB DDR3, 450MHz / 1800MHz, DVI, D-Sub, DirectX 10, HDCP, Fan

it retails for $59.00 AU

If you want a 1 Terabyte Video Card you need to remember that Video Memory is included in the 3.25 Gig Limit for System Memory in all 32 Bit Operating Systems so the more that you add to Video the less will be available for System Memory but with the ATI Chip Set you can look at the

Amaze ATI HD5450 PCI-E 2.0 1GB 128-bit GDDR2, Dual Link DVI/ VGA/ HDMI, Fan

It retails for $99.00 AU

and in the NVidia Chip Set family is the

Amaze GT220 PCI-E 1GB 128-bit DDR2, 625MHz / 1580MHz, DVI, VGA, HDMI, Fan

Which also retails for $99.00 AU.

All of the above are low Profile Cards and will meet your requirements unless there is something specific that you require which you have not mentioned.

It's hard to find any more powerful Low Profile Video Cards above the 2 that i listed above. But you require a PCI Express x16 connector (PCIE_X16) type Video Card.

Thanks

It was a 1 terrabyte Video Card I was after :)
I knew they existed after surfing the net.
This was one brand I stumbled across - WinFast GT 220 1024MB DDR3 Low Profile. Is this a (PCIE_X16) type Video Card.

My problem is knowing what will work BEST based on the comp architecture in my 530s Inspiron.

"If you want a 1 Terabyte Video Card you need to remember that Video Memory is included in the 3.25 Gig Limit for System Memory in all 32 Bit Operating Systems so the more that you add to Video the less will be available for System Memory"
I'm not 100% sure about what you are saying here?
Didn't the service pack solve the System Memory issue? if not, should i upgrade to WIN7? OR is it something else?

Cheers for help so far :)
