I have a laptop computer and it is really slow for some reason.It is slow when opening programs and surfing the net.It has windows XP loaded on it with 1.0 ghz celeron processor,128 mg of ram and 56k modem.The computer is approx 3 years old and has not had the operating system re-installed.Is there anything I can do in windows to speed it up some? also is there any software or hardware that may be available to improve performance ( free or otherwise). The computer is a Dell inspiron 2600 and in like new condition.I dont think there is a virus on it because I haven’t used it on the net very often.thanks
