We are running Metaframe 1.8 for Win2K on an HP LC2000 as well as a Dell PowerEdge 2400. The two servers are configured as a “farm”. We run primarily one app from these servers. When we attempt to launch that app from a client, it can take up to a minute to start the program. A fair portion of that time is the Win2k “Loading Personalized Settings”. It seems to hang on that screen much longer than it should. I don’t recall the exact spec’s of these servers but I can tell you that they are at least P-III 766’s with 512MB RAM each.
