I am in desire need of help from someone with networking/connectivity experience.
Here is my problem:
-26k connection through RAS by mobile users.
What I have checked:
-We have 3 modems used by RAS connected to a DIGI 8 port switch connected to out server. One single phone # wtih roll over.
-TCP/IP Porotcol, Client for Microsoft, Print Sharing Protocol (These are standard setting throught out organzation NIC or Modem)
-Modem drivers has been updated ( all 3 are 56k Flex, USROBOTICS,PRATICAL, GENIUS)
– Line has been check and are clean.
?? What could Be casuing the slow connection of 26k and what can I check out other than what I have mention to increase that spead. ( CO. is looking into VPN down the road…like… end of this year)
