we just moved into a new building wired with fibre optic cable. it should run at least on 100 Mbits but when i copy a 5 mb file from one server to the next it takes 8 minutes!!! Even my isdn at home is much faster. I changed the cable andthe ports – same result. Anyone came across this problem before and can tell me were i should look to? Any settings in the NIC I have to change?
